Fees & rebates for psychological services
Transparent, fair pricing for professional psychological care
Psychological Counselling Adelaide
Standard consultation fee
The Australian Psychological Society has set the standard consultation fee for Psychological Counselling at $311. However, to make our fee structure more accessible, the payment for each standard 50-minute consultation is $250.
If you have a Mental Health Care Plan, which can be arranged as part of your referral in consultation with your GP, you will be able to claim the Medicare rebate of $98.97 per individual session for seeing a general psychologist. This will make your out-of-pocket expense $151.03 per session.
Please note: I do not offer bulk billing.

Do I need a referral from my GP to see a psychologist?
No, you do not need a referral to access this service. Getting a Mental Health Plan as part of your referral is completely optional. If you do not have a Mental Health Care Plan, the full fee of $250 per session applies. You may contact us directly to book in your first appointment. Depending on your private health cover, you may be able to claim under Psychology services.
Cancellation policy
SMS reminders for appointments are sent to clients 72 hours before their scheduled appointment. If you are unable to keep a scheduled appointment, please let the clinic know as soon as possible. Cancellation fees are currently set at 50 percent of the above scheduled fee ($250) if you cancel within 24-48 hours of the appointment.
The full scheduled fee ($250) is payable if you fail to attend an appointment without prior notice or cancel on the day of the appointment. You will not be charged a cancellation fee if we are able to reallocate your session to a client on the waiting list.
Are the sessions confidential?
Information expressed during sessions is strictly confidential. The only exception to this is when updating your referring doctor with information on your progress and requests for further sessions (if required) under the Medicare system. We are also legally required to disclose information to a third party if there are concerns about your safety, including the risk of harm to you or another person. We are also bound by law to report suspected child abuse, neglect and unregistered firearms.
When are you available for consultations?
9am-5pm on Fridays for face to face & Telehealth
Saturdays from 9am-12pm Telehealth
We offer both face to face and telehealth
I offer both in-person and online (telehealth or phone) sessions to provide flexibility and make support more accessible. Whether you’re navigating a busy schedule, live outside Adelaide, or simply prefer the comfort of your own space, online sessions can be a convenient and effective option. In-person sessions are available for those who value face-to-face connection in a calm, private setting (location yet to be determined). While the format may differ, the quality of care, depth of connection, and personalised approach remain the same in both.
Do you incorporate or refer to any complementary therapies or professionals (e.g., nutritionists, GPs, yoga, mindfulness, naturopaths)?
Yes, absolutely. I believe in an integrative model of care, and I often collaborate with other professionals to ensure clients receive the most well-rounded support.
With client consent, I occasionally refer to trusted GPs, nutritionists, exercise physiologists, yoga instructors, or body-based practitioners where needed. I often encourage mindfulness, meditation, movement practices, and nervous system regulation strategies as part of our work together.
These approaches aren’t a substitute for therapy, but they often complement the psychological work by addressing other layers of a person’s experience, helping clients to feel supported physically, mentally, and emotionally. All recommendations are tailored based on a client’s needs, values, and goals.
